The standard VAX C compiler is not ANSI. Accordingly, ALSCRIPT will require changes to the source code to compile on a VAX. Hopefully DEC will update their compiler to ANSI standard in the near future.
The DEC C++ compiler works OK for alscript. Alscript will also compile on Dec ALPHA under OpenVMS. A descrip.mms file is included for this purpose.
