Jalview has a cDNA translate function which 'magically appears' under
the 'Calculations' menu when you're working with a dna sequence.
Reverse and complement will be added to the todo list - they are both
fairly easy to implement, but I suspect the first attempt will be very
simple indeeed - ie :
1. select a region (or apply to whole alignment)
2. apply reverse or complement to create a new alignment containing
the result.
Is that the kind of basic functionality you mean ?

not as far as I know - it would be great to hear about it if they have.
