There are several interactions which are not possible under wrapped 
view. We didn't spend too much effort fixing this partly because of the 
awkwardness the user experiences when trying to select columns spanning 
multiple blocks using the mouse.

this is straightforward - simply adjust the width of the alignment 
window to set the block width. There is also an obscure (and apparently 
out of date) documentation page describing this:
