Hello Leon - well done for finding the answer in the archives!

This pesky bug is also fixed in the latest build of the Jalview 2.7 
branch, which can be launched here:
http://www.compbio.dundee.ac.uk/~ws-dev1/jalview/latest/webstart/jalview.jnlp
