How to Register for SCANPS Version 2.X

This form is for ACADEMIC, TEACHING and NON-COMMERCIAL users. If you wish to register to use scanps in a company, then please contact me directly. SCANPS is a program to compare a protein or DNA sequence to a database of sequences. Currently, it is available for Silicon Graphics computers in uniprocessor and multiprocessor forms. The multiprocessor version gives good speedup on the Challenge and Origin series and should also work effectively on the Octane, though I have not tested this. The license you receive as a result of completing this form will activate both uniprocessor and multiprocessor versions. A uniprocessor version is also available for Sun computers running Solaris 2.5 or later.
