e.g. low-level introduction

This document is aimed at those with little or no knowledge of bioinformatics.  The intention is to explain how computers are used in molecular biology and the sort of discoveries that can be made by exploiting the data and computational techniques that make up the field of bioinformatics.

Someone will need to write this.  I may volunteer - Geoff.
