Co-localisation

Interacting proteins are more likely to be annotated as being present within the same cellular compartment. A full set of localisation data was generated using the Protein Subcellular Localization Tool (PSLT). The PSLT was used to classify protein pairs into 4 groups:

• Protein pairs in the same compartment,
• Protein pairs in neighbouring compartments,
• Protein pairs in non-neighbouring compartments,
• Proteins with no localisation predictions.
