ANSI C source code for the neural network prediction method (Jnet) designed as part of this work is available from http://barton.ebi.ac.uk/ and as down-loadable binaries for all the major UNIX platforms. The Jnet method has been incorporated into an improved version of the Jpred [55] consensus secondary structure prediction server as shown in Figure 8.
