protEST server

protEST server unavailable

The protEST server generated protein multiple alignments from a combination of protein and EST sequences. The procedures developed for protEST are described in Cuff et al. (2000)

STATUS

protEST was developed primarily by James Cuff as part of his D.Phil. research.  It worked well and demonstrated the principles, but is too complex and has too many dependencies to be supported at this time.
