The Prediction of Protein-Protein Interactions

I have investigated the prediction of human protein-protein interactions by integrating in a Bayesian network numerous features that are indicative of interaction including gene co-epxression, orthology transfer from other organisms, co-localization in the cell, co-occurrence of domains and post-translational modification (PTMs) as well as local network topology.
Protein features indicative of interaction

This is a project that has now been taken over by Mark McDowall in the Barton group.
All the predictions are accessible through the PIPs website.
