The text search performs a query across all of the descriptions for proteins that are within the database.
Query Syntax
- Each term within the query should be separated by a space.
- Each term must have a length ≥ 3
- Use the minimum common string that you wish to search for (eg to search for "factor" and "factors", search using the term "factor")
It is also possible to indicate terms that you do not want to be included in the search results. Once you have listed the terms that you want to search for use the "NOT" command then type each term that is not to be included in the output.
