12/09/2008	Release of v1.1 of the PIPs database webserver. New features and improvements: Text query search feature alllowing searching of the protein descriptions and the ability to exclude specified search terms from the results. Improved Statistics page so that interactions can be browsed or downloaded. Improved presentation for Summary of Interactions and Summary of Evidence pages. Alteration of the style of the website so that it is websafe across multiple browsers. New help pages to provide a more informed experience for the user.
15/08/2008	Release of v1.0 of the PIPs database webserver. Features include: Search using IPI, RefSeq or UniProt identifiers Search using protein sequence of batch searching of IPI identifiers Summary of interactions and Scores for a queried protein Summary of the evidence used to predict interaction between a protein pair Summary of a protein including number of predicted interactions, sequence and links to external databases. Java applet to view the local topology of the network around a query protein
