3Dee contains structural domain definitions for all protein chains in the Protein Databank (PDB), currated by the EBI and the RCSB, that have 20 or more residues and are not theoretical models. These structures are listed here. These domains have been clustered by both sequence and structural similarity. The resulting families are stored in a hierarchy. A more detailed introduction on the 3Dee database can be found here.
Database description, history and update status

The 3Dee download area provides lists of 3Dee domains and a description of their contents and format.
The interface to the RasMol molecular graphics program is the same as that used by SCOP. Information on how to set this up on your computer can be found here.
3Dee also stores structural superpositions for similar proteins. In order to be able to view the structural superpositions you must install some software on your Unix workstation.
